About the Author
Gertrude Chandler Warner was born in 1890 in Putnam, Connecticut, where she taught school and wrote The Boxcar Children because she had often imagined how delightful it would be to live in a caboose or freight car. Encouraged by its success, she went on to write eighteen more stories about the Alden Children.

Exciting book that is worth reading

I recommend this book because there are a lot of things going on. First, The Boxcar Children are trying to figure out where a mask came from. They are also helping an injured neighbor. And they are curious about a nurse and and truck driver. Finally they are trying to find a missing donation box. I found the book exciting because of all this action.
The Boxcar Children books are always fun to read. This is not the best book in the series but it is very good.
The children once again solve the mystery and a criminal who is wanted in 8 states is captured.

I'm a person who would really recommend the Boxer Children because its always exiting to read mysteries like this one. I also highly recommend you to read Guide Dog Mystery by Gertrude C. Warner I think that is the best !!!!!! Anastasia Karaninsky age 10 5th grade
